A Personal Appeal to all Pastors of the Constituent Churches of the Valley Baptist Association:

Pastors;

Our Valley Baptist Association Week convening at High Street church is but a few weeks away.

As your Moderator, Pastors, I need you to make sure that your church has registered with the Parent Body. In the Past there have been delegates who represented in auxiliaries of the Association and by-passed the official registration. Now, if the church is not registered with the parent body then the office or position as delegate is nullified with no voting privileges.

Please attend to this before the Annual session.

Please note our changes in the constitution, (especially that of tenure, and an overall legitimate nominating committee.)

The  Executive Board ; The  Committee on Church Partnering; The  Valley Baptist Convention Choir; The Constitution Committee;  The Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship Committee, along with The Partnering churches, etc., all  have worked diligently and tirelessly behind the scenes,  to make our session one of the best in recent times.

Our Purpose: Get the Information!

I pray that our time  together in session and worship  will readily inform  delegates and ultimately the entire body, of the mandate of  the Kingdom ; the health of our  traditional alignments and affiliations; and most importantly the  vision of new  mission fields, to harvest and  expand  therein. 

(Any Pastor is welcome to come to Executive meetings bi-monthly at Greater Mt Zion Baptist Church on the 2^nd Saturday at 10am.)

Our Mission theme:   “ADVANCING THE KINGDOM THROUGH PREACHING.”

Lastly, I need every Pastor and Preacher present on Moderators Night.  That particular Wednesday evening, new recommendations, and Appointments will be made. Please be present!  Please cancel bible study or other functions the week of the association that your people might see you / we give positive and impactful leadership.
