Dear Pastors and Moderators,

We greet you in the name of Him who orders out footsteps and meets us with grace and mercy.

This letter is being sent to each of you, to inform every church and Association of the Virginia Baptist State Convention of a very historical event for this convention.

The Virginia Baptists State Laymen's League on behalf of the National Baptist Convention USA Laymen's Movement under the direction of Harold Simmons, President, will be hosting the 13th Annual Walter Cade Southeast Regional Workshop. This workshop is a teaching ministry for all laypeople of the church. We also encourage Pastors to attend this workshop with their Lay persons.

The Southeast Region of the National Baptist Convention USA consists of five states: they are Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

This is the first time the Virginia Baptist State Laymen will be hosting this workshop. In order for this workshop to be a success and a great reflection on the Virginia Baptist State Convention, we are asking and in need of financial support of every church, Association, and auxiliary.
